Exclusive Entertainment Venues in Vancouver

If touring Vancouver by the day doesn’t wear you out, the night scene might. This city is home to some of the world’s best entertainment venues in the world. These bars and clubs keep it jumping until dawn.

The Granville district, Davies Street and the downtown area of Yaletown constitute much of the entertainment scene. This is the place whether you like club hopping, going on pub-crawls or sipping cocktails. These are pedestrian-only streets during the weekends. There’s also ample police presence for your safety.

Here are a few exclusive entertainment venues you should check out while in Vancouver, such as the following:

The Roxy Cabaret

Located on Granville street, the Roxy cabaret is one of the most happening places in Vancouver. They have regular live band performances and theme nights. The crowd is vibrant and young, and celebrities can show up randomly.

The Granville Entertainment District

This is the epicentre of Vancouver’s downtown night scene. You can have your pick of pubs, bistros, dance clubs and other entertainment venues.

Opus Bar

The Opus hotel houses one of Vancouver’s most upscale bars. Located in Yaletown, this entertainment venue is a top choice for the most sophisticated of Vancouver’s residents. You can get down to the sound of the best DJs in town. The drinks and bites are surprisingly pocket-friendly during happy hour.

The Calabash Bistro

The Calabash Bistro is ideal if you prefer chilled vibes. The cuisine is a Caribbean affair, and so are some of the establishment’s signature cocktails. The music selection is also grown and chill, so expect loads of RnB and old school hip-hop. There’s even a reggae night every Saturday.

Vancouver TheaterSports

If the clubbing scene is not for you, a few laughs may see you through the night. Granville Island’s improv center is an excellent place to start. TheaterSports is a stylish lounge that overlooks a false creek. Each night sees amateur improv actors take on various themes.
